[EXETOOLS]Skype group

i think that would be a big step to unite members and revive them i hope the staff will agree and open such group

Since Microsoft acquired skype it started to efficiently collaborate with the investigation forces who request logs..think to this twice, except if you are going to talk of mices.

It would be better to use Tox for enhanced security and resistance to wiretapping.

mr.exodia 05-23-2014 23:59

Skype is not secure. Better use cryptocat or a similar otr service. I also think a chat group for all of EXETools doesn't contribute much, it will only be spam.

Greetings

We use https://crypto.cat/ for secure easy to use group chat.

nikkapedd 05-24-2014 00:43

For me is better to make a mirc group... Mirc is ultrasecure at 1080 bits..
But as mr.exodia wrote, maybe is only a waste of time..
Better will be a permanent https on exetools forum...

Shub-Nigurrath 05-24-2014 01:44

this is indeed interesting as a generic discussion in these days, not only nsa stuffs become public, but also most of the existing chat programs are not so secure as you might think and several others are appearing and indeed not yet peer-reviewed..

I wrote this post on purpose on woodmann which I wish to report also here, since you may know alternatives to add

No. Two reasons.
1. Insecure
2. If there was a need for it we would have done it already.

Git

Personally, I do not like to have a chat group.

In China, many people opened chat groups on QQ.
People expected to have instant respond from expert on the chat group.
But actually, there are 90% of spam in the groups and many forums died.

If we share experience on forums, more people can learn from the posts even few years later.
