Unpacking help - Mp3Tagclinic 2.5
 

Could someone help find out wich packer/encryptor is used by this program?

I've tried every filescanner there is but nothing works!
Since I'm kind of new at this I can't find the OEP.

Could someone please help figure this out?

By the way, it's written in delphi.

sure, it identifies it as asprotect 1.2x, (I've already used pe-scan 3.13, great tool btw) but have you tried to unpack it?

It doesn't work, that's my whole problem!!!

I've used almost every asprotect unpacker i can find and they all say that either it's 'not packed with asprotect', or 'wrong version of asprotect'. If you can find one that works i would be thankful!

Ok, but it was worth the trie :)

Anyway, the problem I have is to hide softice, I don't know if frogice (or similars) work under windows xp.

I can't get inside the program's code because every breakpoint I set is ignored, i've tried getprocaddress, loadlibrarya, and another one i can't remember.

And I can't load it into softice directly because I have to change the code section flag, and then i get an error saying the file as been corrupted (damn CRC!).

any ideas?

And btw, has you might have noticed I'm kind a knew in unpacking. ;)

i have core dump (u can dasm it with all references) but u cannot run / tarce it - 1st must fix some pe values to do 100% working dump. if u have skills for fix these values or want this core file for idea about program, tell me. aspr its bit tricky one ;)
