Thank you for the consideration, yogi_saw. For those who are oblivious, the grand mal seizure occurred this Saturday while I was amidst an evening's rest. I was fortunate enough for my dear mother to witness it and transport me to the hospital the following morning. I underwent a plethora of examinations which determined that I was exceptionally healthy and that the cause was unknown. I have had these seizures eons ago in my childhood. I was allowed to return home the following evening with a prescription to a new medicine. I can assure you that my health is completely balanced once again. ;)

I hope you are totally fine just now. Have a nice day!

Good luck. Side effects of the meds are not nice but wear off after several months. Between 0.2% and 1% of the worlds population suffers from epilepsy so I'm sure you and I are not the only ones here.

I have currently been placed back on the medication Trileptal(Oxcarbazepine). When I was a child, I was once placed on the medication Tegretol(Carbamazepine). The side effects of it were quite unfavorable. I recall dizziness, weight gain, headaches, etc.. When I was first introduced to Trileptal(Oxcarbazepine), the majority of my side effects were eradicated. I feel a few mild side effects now since the medicine is being reintroduced to my system, but it is nothing like what I recall from the Tegretol(Carbamazepine). :)

Hopefully they will continue to develope better and less complicated medications for your condition and you will only be troubled by difficult chess problems, rather than physical conditions.

Glad you are doing better.

Everybody has some kind of disease of another. Do't worry. It's inevitable. You will recover soon.
I wish you all the best....
