Music Studio Keygen (HWID, MagicNumbers...)
 

Here is something interesting I found in my archive.

First the stuff...

Software: Music Studio

This program generates the key based on your HWID. I traced it all the way and it is a CPU based HWID. So when you go to register you will see your Device ID and Request Code and below empty field for serial. Fishing serial is very easy. Software does it for you :) Place breakpoint here (x64 executable).

If you start the software with the debugger just step through and see what is happening. After some passes it will generate full key for YOUR Request Code. But since this is a keygen, we need to be able to generate for any Request Code.

You should attempt to write the keygen yourself. It is not hard once you know how it works and that picture with breakpoint is all you need. If you are stuck then check my attachment. KG is in C++.

maybe could you try to did into korg pa manager, kpm v5 aswell, for the v3 version the hwid was useless!

It looks that they changed the code. It also allows the user to protect their created set with password. It uses salting and byte shifting. It is really tough to bypass. Anyone tried?

I will try it, but any clue about how to unlock the password for a locked .music set?. That was the difficult part
