Can't get softice suite 3.0 run - reboot -*UPDATED*
 

Hi,
I've just installed SoftIce driver suite 3.01 (taken from ftp) and when I boot up system, It hangs up with blue screen of death, saying that file SIWVID.SYS had tryied to write in a read-only memory area.
Error code is 0x000000BE

I'm running windows XP SP1, my system is an Athlon XP 2400+ with 768Mb DDR Ram, any suggestion? (I've tryied to start softice in Boot,Automatic and System, no luck).

NOTE : I succeded in...... I had to install a previous version of Nvidia detonator , 52.16 version and not it don't hang anymore, I've got another problem related to network......
pressing CTRL+D it appears

"This machine is currently being debugged
remotely by softICE.

Networking not yet started.

Waiting for Host to complete debugging."

but I don't want remote debuggin, how to fix it? thank in advance

May be, reinstalling Sice with both server and workstation (not workstation only) components wil help you

I can't run soft ice 3.0 on windows xp pro too. But after I format computer and install windows 2000, it can work normally.
