Exetools - Wise installer

I'm trying to crack a 16bit NE Wise installer. I have tried using E-Wise, ExWise, HWUN, and UnWiser to extract the files from Self test softwares MCSE 70-210w.exe file. After I extract the files the program does not work(tells me corrupt License File). If I use the correct code to install everything goes fine. So, I'm assuming that the Wise installer writes some info to this file and makes it work correctly. My problem is I need to find out how this protection is working so I can crack the other Self Test Software MCSEs. I cant use SoftIce(my video card doesn't support it). I need some info on what to use, where to start, or any insight into this problem. I have tried using W32DASM but it doesn't seem to be working out. I found a tut about this but the code had to be hard coded and this one I don't think is(I have multiple passwords for this file). Any Help???
