Softice isnt breaking...

I read a tutorial on dbc
(in german) how we unpack upx (crackme #1). And I have SoftIce DriverSuite 3.0. All my configures are perfect. I import dlls... Breakpoints were allways going (getdlgitemtexta....). In the tutorial i must set a breakpoint on getprocaddress. Then I go on F5 or ctrl+d and I will start the program. But nothing is happen. Normally i give in: addr PROCESS ID. When I make this and close nothing happen. And when I go on Start-->end... then softice start. Why SI dont start when I start the program? In the tutorial it goes...

FIRST thing to try is use the "Search" button. Enter "Softice breakpoints" and read the many previous threads that you will find listed there.

DS 3.0 breakpoints are "context" sensitive. You will find information about this specific problem with that search term.
