Hiew , Qview, Biew and asm wildcard search
 

hi all,

in Releases forum, Voloyda says that Hiew is the only program able to search in asm using wildcards,

but i've been using two programs able to do it

i've been using Qview 2.80 rel5, since years ago and i find the wildcard search in assembler more powerful and best than hiew,

also, still in development, Biew 5.5.0 is able to do search in asm using wildcards

anyone here uses other nice hex edit?

both programs are very easy to find in google (biew is in sf.net)

but i use hiew for the crypt function, very nice!!

Good hex editor is ultraedit (sweet copy/paste functions...) and WinHex (reads/writes disks,reads process memory...).
