How to improve the FTP (2 simple things)
 

1. Make the password thread only visible to users with at least 75 posts. This can be done with a Vbulletin mod.

2. Change the password once a week.


* This will stop people who sign up for the FTP, but who never post anything on the forum. (obvious leech) It will also encourage more participation in the forum.

I think changing the password frequenly is just enought.

Actually, you don't need a mod to do this.

Just make it that when a user gets 75 posts he then goes to the next usergroup level, and then set the forum/thread access based on the usergroup level.

Why 75? Let's set it to 500. Will you support such suggestion?
