Help..Having problems linking to other parts of the forum
 

Most times when i come here now i cant go anywhere beyond this General discussions part..???

When i click link to go to Requests or Software releases etc..i just get the cant connect web page window..anyone else having or had same problem..if so did u fix it?

started 3 - 4 days ago for me, I can sometimes view other sections but same result as paul3333 trying to view software release section.

same to me, but only if i surf through a proxy server... @ home with network address translation it works fine to access all forums... (except for a little downtime yesterday)

I have the same problem, i have write to JMI to report this problem, and he say me that the forum sometime had problems.
To resolve problem, try to logout and re-login..
This solution (for me) generally works !

Otherwise, if i change my IP address, i can access to ALL forum sections.
Probabily the http server have the timeout parameters set to low value..

nullz also reported that his hardward firewall was telling him that there was a trojan when he attempted to access the Software Forum. Is anyone else getting the problem?

I'll ask Aaron to try to check this out.

Hi!
I have an Hardware firewall, integrated in my router, (netgear 834) and when try to attempted to access the Software Forum, i don't have any warning..
So, 30 min ago, i have disabled my integrated firewall, and have try to put another Hardware firewall (SOHO6) between my router and my internal network.
The result is the same.. no warning !

Initially, when i have found the problem, i have try to disable the firewall, but nothing was changed.

Now i go to try another test:
I want to disable the Integrated Firewall, and trt to put between the network-chain a PC that has loaded ASTARO Security Linux v5.0.
Astaro is a very good firewall, fully configurable, and very detailed !
When I have tried i will report on forum the result..
