Flex LM and ECC
Well, I'm back and hello to everybody. Since that talk to dynio I slightly increased my knowledge about public key crypto and, therefore, I'm having a lot of questions. One of them touches Flex LM v9+.
My dear Tom, if you are here, probably, you'll be able to help. Suppose I'm having a file that contains something like SIGN="192B C3C0 2B49 3043 7880 996A 0A91 \ 3E5F E270 B404 CBE0 4A51 A5C8 4DD9 CF27 1924 411B C2AD 7554 \ 82F1 4BE9 9752 CD2A 771D 682A D838 8FB4 AABA DBCD FBF2" \ It means, ECC was used. As far as I'm concerned, there was a bug in PRNG in the previous versions (that reminds the situation with Armadillo, he-he) but now the hole is cleaned. Are there any chances to remove the protection by issuing a valid lic-file or I can do a patch only? |
Hi,
AFAIK, patching is the only way. Check h**p://66.98.132.48/crackz/index.html for ECC patching tool. Tom |
for ECC patching tool
What is it? There are many tools on that page... |

Hi volodya;
Haven't spotted a "patching" tool there yet, but have you seen this: http://www.woodmann.com/crackz/Tutorials/Flexecc.htm Yep. Tom324 listed it, while I was still looking. :D Regards, |
Hi volodya,
Another option is to force an old-style (i.e. license-key as opposed as sign=) checkout (essay also available at crackz site). This involves patching as well but allows to use a valid old-style licence. This avoids to allow the checkout of any feature. (usefull if the target tries to checkout a demo feature).
