Confirmed

Confirmed,
Lunar dust's tut is working perfectly. Tried on so many target.
But there's 1 trick left. If you unpack under WinXP, unpacked file won't run on win9x family. But error will show you the offset.
Nop that line. Add esp, dword ptr [xxxxxxxx].
Now unpacked file will run fine on all win machine.
Anyway, any1 tried bejeweled deluxe 1.861 yet? because unpacked file complain errors. But still can be run with no text displayed. "Thanks for registering. Click here to continue" text is missing/not displayed.

Yep, not difficult to crack a trymedia protected game. It seems the protection has changed a bit from the first trymedia releases (more anti debug and anti-shitty stuff) but most of them for Win9x. Very easy in 2k/XP.

A pitty that we cannot have the trymedia packer itself, should be nice to play a bit with it, protecting our classics notepad and calc.exe :D ....or maybe someone has it? ;)

You can download a trial edition, and register a free account on their site to try using the packer. The packer uploads the EXE to their site, packs it, and then you download the packed version.

This is what I did to research the program.

Thanks Lunar dust,

I thought you had to send many $$$ first or being a big company to allow using their packer for testing ;)

I will try that.

Regards.
