i'll consider buying the book, it isn't as expensive as i expected.

Hmmm...dont know, sometimes those books are the same as previous editions but with just a few extensions. So, will you pay that money just for the extension? ;)

Lets hope they at least talk about AMD/IA64 :)

i don't have the previous edition on paper, so yes, i will pay for more than the extension only :)

With Microsoft's foray into the 64-bit OS market with the 64 bit XP up on MSDN, and with the rising popularity of the 64bit chipsets from AMD and Intel, it would be a sure bet that they cover 64-bit topics somehow.

i have the Inside Windows 2000 version of this book, i think it is a great book specially if you have also the windows 2000 source code :)

Tuition hikes around the country, and the price of textbooks, make college a financial squeeze on students.

Yeah my heart bleeds, so much so I decided to donate the book to the poor guys, hard as I tried though I could not squeeze it through that narrow slot on the front of my computer. Heard a rumour bob geldof is planning "student aid" next.
