struct as local var in ida
 

just a quick q,
anyone know how to define a function local variable as a struct in ida?

just a quick answer,
Define your struct if your struct was not defined in Structures window.
Double click local variable to open "Stack of xxx" window.
Press Alt+Q, select your struct.

thx, alt-q was what i was missing... doesnt seem to be in the menus anywhere

Have a look to 'Edit'->'Structs'->'Struct Var' ;)
