ASPR unpacking in VCDCut Pro V4.15
 

Hi i've downloaded VCDCut Pro V4.15 and it's packed with ASProtect 1.23 RC1.

I've tried to mannually unpack it and get an output.But it seems crashes when runs. When i tried to run the packed file in olly it crashes even with
Hide debugger plugin.

So i tried stripper .But eventhough it unpacks the file it won't run.

Any ideas.....

There are a lot of tuts about ASPR 1.23 ...
May be you should add some aspr section ?

But what's wrong with stripper.

Have you got proper stolen bytes ? IAT correctly restored ? Missing section added ?

In some cases stripper won't find correct stolen . Check the section of unpacked file that stripper produce. If the name of the last section is ".pseudo" , then stripper did it "his way".

well it wan'ts to be patched after the unpacking...It is something like an additional protection...anyway I pathced it,but still wan't to be patched cause in
slice show pictures,when selecting a picture,the application crashes...All others are patched by me,so anyone who wants to continue that download the attachment ;>
