jfyi if this is not working for you change your locals to russia (even timezone to atleast gmt+3) there is a timezone check which they missed... this is the russian only version of IDA.. sadly there is no fix available from SSG

This Version doesn't work for me...
It does nothing if I open a file and then I have to start the analysis
myself.
the Problem seems to be that IDA doesn't get the real EP (it allways
say something like 732843)... Even if I open Notepad.exe...

I hope there is a fix.

But now i have a different problem:

I want to avoid using softice but I can't find a proper way to hide the IDA debugger.

To Hades32: then use OllyDbg. Why doesn't it fit your needs?

To bypass the IsDebuggerPresent trick in IDA, when the IDA debugger start and stop at the Entry Point of exe, open IDC command windows, and type: PatchByte(EBX + 2, 0) to turn off the BeingDebugged Flag.

no it aint .. belive me i talked to SSG about this its a russian located version.. so some ppl will have problems (as you can read in the also posted topic in here) thats all cause of the region check while talking to the SSG dudes we found out they missed that check since it works when you change you locals to russian ;)

sadly SSG didnt release any fix by now so you have to use either old exe or change locals

Thanks for this release. I hope i must not change the region settings everytime i use it. :)
