PeId 0.93 Nothing found *
 

hi all

I tryed to detect a packer of a program but PeID 0.93 tells

(Nothing found *) in normal scan and (UPolyX v0.5 *) in deep scan


but it does not seem to me that right because the code is diffrent....


is there any way to know that packer...

Detect UPolyX v0.5 is the bug in PEiD.Search new signature for PEiD or try RDG Packer Detector.

Put first 1000h bytes of paked file here, some code from EP and I'l try to help you.. Post also entropy of your target (peid->Extra Information -> Entropy)

It's not packed. Just java application, compiled to native executable by Excelsior JET (http://www.excelsior-usa.com/jet.html)

this program has alot of exceptions , no string reference , and sometimes it hang up me system or terminate it self any ideas or tips to deal with such one will be appreciated....

It depends on that you want to achieve with your target ;) More info required.
