Microsoft Product ID (pid)
Hi all,
here is my question, that is regarding Microsoft Serial Validation: First of all i would ask if anyone remembers that tool that was given some time ago with windows by crackers that worked with a console app that you had to put with pidgen in a folder, and that application bruteforced the pidgen (and another file which i don't recall the name) trying to find a valid serial. If anyone has that tool please attach it here, i lost it. The question is: I have three microsoft games which i want to obtain a new serial (let's say: age of mythology, titans and aoe III). If i substitute the pidgen that was included with the windows crack with the pidgen of those 3 games, am I able to obtain some serials from those games or it does not work? I'm not expert in windows serial generation (though i only know that it uses public key infrastructure b'coz i read the MSKey4in1.doc tutorial) so i don't know if it would work and i don't have that tool to test it. Anyone more expert than me would share his knowledge/say his 20 cents? Thanks |
hi
you can patch pidgen.dll and possibly wintrust.dll too |
