Read the first post carefully. @agoo is asking about LOCAL DEVICE.
There is no web server involved.
@agoo is trying to access his
LOCAL DEVICE files with his browser and asking why it fails.
I have provided the answer.
CORS is something totally different.
Stop trying to put down people with high-sounding terms without understanding their meaning first...
