I generally do not take the time or effort to become "offended" about much of anything in life. I do not have any objection to being called an "old man" because I have earned the titled, and it is generally better than the alternative of never reaching this age.
But I am somewhat curious how you came to suspect I'm Russian.
Not that it is not a proud nationality to be, but that it is just not a heritage in my family background. My nick correctly identifies the place of my birth and my ancestors were mostly Scotish, German and English.
