Hero:
While I recognize you are somewhat desperately searching for something to post about, what you have posted here suggests that you need to read my standard lecture about how one should really approach the subject of reverse code engineering.
The most important skill you can learn is how to "Search." both here and on the net and then you will discover that the answers to a great many questions one might ask are there for the fairly easy finding. You, attempting to find a post that I won't delete or consolidate, have, instead "asked" a question you should have found the answer to for yourself.
For example, you could have used the SEARCH button at the top of these Forums and entered the words "open source exe protector" (without the quotes) and seen what it would have found. You could have, and should have, done that same thing using your favorite search engine. There is a wealth of information out there for the finding, if one is not too lazy to go looking for it or to desirous of making a post, to actually spend some time "Thinking" about a problem that needs solving and trying "first" to solve it themselves.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=open+source+exe+protectors
Had you actually tried to help yourself, you would then be in a position to ask a more meaningful question about the topic and the comparative value of one open source protector vs. others, although you could probably find much information on that subject also, if you actually look.
Regards,
