If we want to be "politically correct," we should probably be referring to our "female" members as "women", rather than as "girls."
In English, using the word "woman" or "women" shows more respect, and "girls, usually is used to refers to younger females.
Casually, they are also referred to as "gals" and "boys" referred to as "guys".
Although I recognize most of you are a whole lot younger than I am.
