One method I used multiple times is to flash TWRP recovery, delete the key file responsible for the pattern/password (I guess there might be some additional command to execute, but I cannot look it up right now, maybe in few hours), then restart the devices and enter any pattern/password and it will unlock

This process will work only if you have unlocked booloader.

I am missing something or this means you can bypass android lock password/pattern?
I thought that this could not be possible,like with IOS,if you try to bypass or brute-force the protection,the phone will wipe all data.

if you have usb debug enabled, you can read encrypted pattern data for offline brute force or you can just delete it.

Yes but how many users enable the usb debug?i speak about common users.

@Top10:ios is completely different,none software afaik can defeat password lock,icloud lock.
