Dangerous blacklisted codes...

Some years ago i've found an old Compression software (from Croatia?)that had many blacklisted names and codes.....if the name or code was blacklisted, it turned to zero the size of every file at C:\windows and put a message in autoexec.bat about piracy,etc... I've never found any other app so aggressive and i was wondering if somebody can share any similar experience dealing with angry programmers

Angry people ...

I think Restorator has some checks and if found some cracking actions then delete your registry :-)

Check This

here you have list of some apps and their hidden checks ...

I totally agree with you. Be careful of programs written by Chinese programmers, normally there are too many hidden checks in them and maybe some malicous code to delete registry keys/files or format hard drives

But isn't it illegal to destroy customer computers? They can be taken to court...
