I've got a Nokia 6600 mobile phone today and it seems that it uses a new Operating system that I've never heard about it (Symbian OS). As I've searched there are lots of tools for this OS and mobiles that use it.
I've got lots of new toys to play with The Main processor of these mobiles is ARM processor. IDA Pro can disassemble them but the instructions and APIs seems very strange to me. Is there any one that has worked and reversed some of these new executables? Regards OMID |

Seems that you have missed quite a lot in the Mobile World.
Symbian is derived from Psion aka EPOC. Such devices have been around quite a while. The choice of Nokia to choose this as a mobile phone OS has pushed it in the consumer market. Sadly there is not much info on such stuff. You can have a look at http://www.ka0s.net/ which features some of my tuts. Also www.newlc.com is a good source. It's a developers site but you can learn many things there... |

Have a browse through the documents listed here:
hxxp://www.arm.com/documentation/Instruction_Set/index.html That will at least help you understand the different instructions. |
