How can I unpac the EXE from DVDShrink? I want to translate it to German.

First of all, try to identify the packer - try PeID or alike. Then search for unpacker or tutorial. Then maybee resourcehacker could help with resource modification.

GT2 determines the DVD Shrink 3.1.7 EXE as UPX 1.24 packed.

If it is packed with upx, download upx from sourceforge, and use the "upx -d *.exe" to unpack the exefile.

You can also probably use a dumper and a pe rebuilder on it, because Upx is designed for compression, not protection.
