looking around I found an "assembly language workbook" by kip irvine and an "Intel Itanium Assembly Language Reference" searchable ebook.

Hello, installed by VS.NET 2003 or by the .NET framework SDK there is an interesting set of ASM code samples to mainly work with memory (memset, memmove, memcpy, memcmp, etc) and strings (strncpy, strncmp, strcat, etc) ... I thought someone might be interested.

Why don't you just try to be patient for a couple of more days until you are eligible for promotion to Trial Member. Surely, you have something else you can work on without needing these particular general files "right now." And if you really need them "right now" why don't you put some of the titles in your favorite search engine and try to find them on your own? Searching is one of the more important skills a reverse engineer can learn.
