I guess TEMS should explain what "source code" exactly he's looking for.
Should it be the actual fingerprinting code (getting MACs, BIOS, disk, CPU and other serials), or connecting to an existing protector via its API (just to protect, you often don't need any additional source code, you just use the tool).
