Winpe

the windows xp pre-installation environment is a stripped down version of windows xp.
I am thinking that it may be possible to enable the GUI (windows explorer). although it can only run 24hr for each session.
if all the function of the original windows xp could be re-incoorporated into winpe,
then we have the whole windows xp operating in just one CD.
this cd will be as portable and powerful as we wanted.
don't you think it is possible and useful? practical? or crazy? stupid? useless?
