A whole lot of what's been posted since registration was re-opened shows a nearly complete lack of effort to help oneself gather a set of basic skills in reverse engineering by searching the net for information and then actually studying it.
There's been a whole lot of deleting going on around here. A great many posts seem to have no purpose other that as "post count spam."And BlackKnight, I deleted your response a moment ago because Polaris was not suggestion you use the link to find out what "flirt" is, but so you would READ THE FRIGGEN MANUAL and be able to answer your own question. BlankKnight followed up this post with another, complaining that: "I can't read manual, because I havent it I never bought IDA as well as many people here because it too expensive for me..." Once again, this just shows COMPLETE LACK OF EFFORT at studying the tools you have. IDA comes with a "HELP" file, which, in the later version IS the friggen manual. There is also information available online at datarescue on these topics, as ANYONE who has taken the trouble to go look would have discovered. For example, these: http://www.datarescue.com/idabase/ http://www.datarescue.com/idadoc/index.htm http://www.datarescue.com/idabase/idasupport.htm "Internal resources Remote Debugging Tutorial (new 21/03/2004) ARM Processor Module Tutorial (restricted to IDA Pro Advanced customers) IDA Pro Debugger Tracing Tutorial Graphing Tutorial 80x86 Windows PE Debugger Tutorial Fully customizable work environment. High level constructs such as unions, structures, variable sized structures Tutorial Low level constructs such as bitfields. IDC Tutorial shows you how to write and use a simple IDC Program, BitFields Tutorial, Unions Tutorial, Enum tutorial. Support Bulletin Board: where our users help each other. We usually respond within 24 hours to all questions posted on the board. On-Line Documentation: the html version of the windows help file. How to get your free upgrade, additional tools and user contributions search this web site with htdig (21/03/2004) " Each underlined item is a link to new information. Now BlackKnight, stop winning about what you don't know and actually read what you have and what is easily available to you. Regards,
