HowTo KILL and STOP VxD services...

hi guys, i need your help...
what is the best method to KILL/STOP VxD services (Win9x).
i want to kill vxd services because it rerun xxxxx.exe everytime i kill
xxxxx.exe (this vxd services callled yyyyy.vxd). so i must kill yyyyy.vxd
before i can completly kill xxxxx.exe.
which API should i used??? can anybody give me some example, or
maybe step by step method to kill vxd???
