hehe what happened to gdb that comes along
 ?? you dont like it ??anyway google shows lot more linux debuggers may be one of them would be suitable http://www.google.co.in/search?hl=en&q=debugger+linux&meta=

If the program you wanna debug come with source and this source is C/C++, you should stick to GDB.
If you do not have the luxury of having the source, I would definetely use Fenris... It is a real shame that it does not exist for Win32 OSs
