Something Amazing!
Ok everyone you've got to hear this!
I just download Mah Jong Medly from hxxp://www.gamehouse.com, and you won't believe what I did to crack it! This is absolutly crazy  Open the .exe with PEiD v0.93 It will say Nothing is found right? Good, now try the generic unpacker plugin, it will find the OEP then click Unpack. The nag-screen / trial screen comes up, click "Try Now" and PEiD unpacks it! Run the unpacked PE file and the trial is gone! What kind of protection is this that is so easily cracked? It's absolutly crazy and awesome!

What would be "absolutely amazing" would be if you had actually played Mah Jong with the actual tiles. I have a couple of sets, but the ivory ones are expensive and probably illegal to import at this time. It was quite popular in the U.S. in years gone by and has always been popular among the Chinese community here, particularily for gambling.

Packer reminds me of SoftSentry or SalesAgent(rsagent)
Simple (lame) wrappers that load before the actual exe. PEid Generic unpacker waits until what it thinks is an OEP, which, of course is, the OEP... of the original program. The unpack/dump, is just missing the trial crap front end. Tiles... oh the tiles... of the kids... messing with the tiles... no it's not a pyramid, it's a game, no stop, don't touch the tiles! Haha, I totally love Mah Jong, and plan on buying a REAL set, with the original tiles... It's just that that was pretty amazing that a preety famous game company such as game house, has such horrible protection on newly released games
 Say, do you know of any place where I could buy a set fairly cheap?
