Could we please stop the blame game?
He has realized his faults and accepted his mistakes openly, I think this is the most difficult thing to do and he has proved beyond reasonable doubts that he is remorseful for his deeds. let's pretend this never happened and move on because laying blames will not solve anything rather escalate it. there is more than enough discord in the world already and that is more than "enough dose".
